Bryan Johnson, the American millionaire focused on reverse ageing, recently spoke about his struggle with Mumbai’s air pollution. The entrepreneur was in the city to promote his book Don’t Die. He explained on social media that he felt the impact of the city’s pollution as soon as he arrived. Despite using air purifiers in his hotel room and wearing an N95 mask outside, Johnson mentioned that his “throat and eyes burn.”
He described the situation as a serious health concern. His comments came after an Indian-origin entrepreneur, Debarghya Das, pointed out the common health issues caused by pollution in India, such as watery eyes and frequent sneezing. Johnson confirmed that these symptoms were “accurate.”
On X, Das wrote, “Every time I’m in India, I notice my eyes water more, I blow my nose more and people in general cough more. My parents always said these were “allergies” but whenever they come to visit me in the US, they miraculously disappear. We live in denial of a massive health crisis.”
Soon after coming across the post, Bryan Johnson replied, “This is accurate. I arrived in Mumbai yesterday and even with air purifiers in my hotel room and wearing a N95 mask outside, my throat and eyes burn. I agree, it’s a pretty serious health situation.”

“Every time I go back home, I can feel the pollution as soon as the plane lands. No amount of air filtration or mask is enough. We’re sacrificing countless productive years by failing to tackle this crisis,” a comment read.
