Bengaluru-based auto drivers continue to break the internet with their unique thoughts and initiatives. The latest addition to the ever-growing list is a “library on wheels”. Anybody can get bored while navigating through crowded streets in Bengaluru during peak hours. But if you are a bookworm and riding on this viral auto-rickshaw, a peaceful journey is guaranteed. It was recently brought to light by a LinkedIn user named Ravilla Lokesh. He dropped a picture of the “mini library” on the social media platform with the title– “Bengaluru Style”. The photograph was clicked from the backseat.
The auto driver kept all the books in a separate section that had a note– “Free for all, take if you wish.” Several philosophical and spiritual books can be found there. “Only in Bengaluru can you find life advice and philosophical wisdom handed out for free… in an autorickshaw! While stuck in traffic, my friend stumbled upon this mini-library on wheels,” Lokesh wrote in his LinkedIn post.
“Why Divorce? to God Loves You, this auto driver is clearly doubling as a life coach, counsellor and spiritual guide, all while navigating Bengaluru’s chaotic roads. So, what’s the most innovative or inspiring thing you’ve encountered in your daily life?” he added.
The post attracted reactions from many users and one of them wrote, “Bangalore’s vibes are wild. Is an auto driver giving life lessons? Classic. I’d say that’s pure Bengaluru spirit right there. What about those random chai stalls serving wisdom too, huh?”
Recently, another peak Bengaluru moment went viral on social media. An auto driver named Samuel Christy became an overnight sensation for his unique idea of accumulating funds to fulfil his dream. His vehicle has a poster that encourages passengers to share start-up ideas with him.
“Hi passenger, my name is Samuel Christy. I’m a graduate who is looking to raise funds for my startup business idea. If you’re interested, please talk to me,” the note read. Christy represents many youngsters who can go to any extent to fulfil their dreams. The entrepreneurial culture has gained much popularity in Bengaluru over the years.
