Videos showing cross-cultural humour and fun interactions often grab the attention of online audiences. One such Instagram video featuring Indian content creator Neha Arora and her Korean husband, Jongsoo Lee, has surfaced online which has brought together humour and cultural charm. The couple’s lighthearted chemistry and Lee’s attempts at speaking Hindi have left viewers thoroughly entertained.
In the video, Arora initiates a fun challenge to test her husband’s Hindi vocabulary. The challenge is simple – Lee will be shown pictures of some common objects and he has to identify them in Hindi. Holding their baby in one arm, Lee gamely takes on the challenge, confidently responding with his best guesses. While some answers are accurate like identifying a spoon as “chammach,” others are unexpectedly funny.
For instance, when shown a picture of slippers, Lee confidently declares, “Yeh bilkul aasaan, thappad!” Confused Arora asks, “Thappad?” However, Lee offers a witty response to this, saying, “Thappad with chappal.” The fun continues when Lee refers a mosquito as “macchar” and jokingly adds, “I know, I know. She is like you na, macchar.”
Another highlight comes when Arora shows him a table fan. Lee cheekily describes it, saying, “Upar pankha chalte hain, neeche baby sota hain.” The video wraps up with more such moments including Lee’s humorous attempt at identifying a knife, repeatedly saying, “Chakku kahan hai? Chakku kahan hai?”
Since being shared online, the video has racked up over 1.5 million views. Social media users can’t seem to get enough of Lee’s witty remarks and charming personality. The comments section is flooded with praise for Lee for his hilarious attempts at Hindi.
